Conservation study of painted artifacts and buildings
@We mainly treat paintings which are on the ceilings, walls and sliding wooden doors (made of Japanese cedar called Sugitoe) and also votive pictures drawn on wooden panels (called Ema), modern Japanese-style paintings, Japanese traditional dolls and Bunraku puppets, etc. We constantly improve the conservation techniques and materials of painted cultural property.
@Conservation of painting materials is to prevent exfoliation of pigments that used animal glue or fish float glue.
